When the grid returns, the process reverses automatically. Transfer time is 7-13 seconds. For critical equipment (servers, surveillance), a UPS is recommended to bridge this window.

Service intervals are 12,000-20,000 hours compared to 2,000-5,000 hours for gasoline. Diesel fuel is safer to store (higher flash point).
